A SPECIAL EVENING
Please join us for a special evening with the three Republican candidates running for the 5th District Court of Appeals – Matthew Kolodoski, Judge Ben Smith, and Judge Ashley Wysocki. The 5th District Court of Appeals serves Dallas, Collin, Grayson, Hunt, Rockwall and Kaufman counties. The Court hears both civil and criminal appeals and is very important on the November ballot.
Why is the 5th District Court of Appeals such an important court in the Texas judicial system? Why is it important to elect qualified judges who follow the law? Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from these highly qualified Republican judicial candidates for the 5th District Court of Appeals, the largest intermediate court in Texas, who will answer these questions and more. They each have Democrat opponents in the general election and need your support!
DEADLINE TO MAKE MEAL RESERVATION: 5PM on May 26.
The ATTORNEY GENERAL FORUM is now in our rearview mirror!! The SIX Co-Sponsors [of which DPRW was the originator!!] broke all records! We told the candidates that we expected at least 200 to register, and we had MORE than that do so!! We offered the program FREE of charge to all conservative attendees, so the six co-sponsors paid for all the food and drink. We wanted to show all Republicans around the state that when conservatives work together, we ALL benefit! Pictures are worth a thousand words, and we have a few of them below. MANY THANKS to: Marguerite Buccino and Sharon Campbell—who worked the Registration Verification Desk [Blue IS your color, Sharon!! Marguerite--HOW did you escape the light of the camera?!?!]; Judge Lana Myers—who served as a calm, but determined Moderator who kept an even hand while complying with all the candidates’ rules; DPRW’s gift to the Co-Sponsors of a beautiful banner thanking them all for their financial and attendance support [Ellen Leyrer negotiated the contract for this 6 ft. Poster--isn’t it wonderful?!?!?]; and Lee Baldwin—who opened the Forum and guarded the entrance door [people were still trying to register for the Forum up until an hour before it began AND about a dozen tried to get in without registering beforehand]. MANY THANKS also to all DPRW members for their attendance support as well. We could NOT have done it without you!!
